  3. Justin,
Great job and well thought out. Below is a list of the comment we talked about in class yesterday.
Your hierarchy? Proximity does not necessary have to change the hierarchy
    1. Glasses are the most important
    2. Sale is 2nd
    3. With all the sale information. That will include – prices and coupons.
    4. Phone + address and the company
    5. Service + all insurance + styles are =

Why did you organize the information?
    1. Coupons on bottom – easy to tear – that is good – store address with the coupon - excellent proximity
    2. Why is the picture only ½ the size – plopped in the middle at the top? I think that can be better resolved?
    3. If you are going to split the sales and everything in sections can be like a brick wall.Staggered not so central
    4. Do you put the 1 hour service first? I am not sure it is the most important
    5. Does the picture get bigger and then can be cut?

There is a great sense of hierarchy – as in down the page, but you have not utilized the principles of design – for example contrast. There is no containment of your information and the text is too high so we the viewer do not know where to go on the page and what to rest on. THe place name need to be bigger for emphasis. The photo needs to bleed off towards the edge. . The coupons, down the bottom is excellent but again use contrast and color to push them off the page visually. Watch your text hanging on the side, and the text centered under the rectangular information does not work. Make a decision – justified or centered . What is emphasized because of the lack of color is your problem with typography.
And each section of information does not read as a group. Picture?
